Sound poor

Hey,

I bought the Slimbook VI Kde Edition. I'm very happy with it so far. The only thing which bothers me is that the sound quality and volume seems to be poor.

Is this normal?

In KDE it shows me 4 different outputs: "Family 17h/19h HD Audio ..." and 3 times "Rembrandt Radeon HD Audio". I use the "Family..." thing cause this is the only option which brings sound out of the laptop. I guess the others are for HDMI output or so.

So my question is: Do I something wrong or is the sound poor in quality and a bit quiet?

Hey Antonio,

thanks for your answer!

I found a solution to the problem:

Go to KDE settings, click on Sound, then deactivate the Rembrandt devices. Only the "Family Audio" should be there then. Choose profile: "Analog Stereo Duplex" and the sound is loud and clear.
