Hello friends, if today when you turn on your laptop, the time is wrong or it doesn't let you boot the operating system and you constantly see messages like these:
- ERROR: Verification failed: (0x1A) Security Violation
- Secure Boot Violation. Invalid Signature Detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup
Then it means that the CMOS battery of your Slimbook is drained, and therefore, it is unable to maintain the BIOS configuration. Fortunately, replacement is easy; here are the steps to change the BIOS battery.

How to change components of your Slimbook
Generic steps:
Open the bottom cover
Disconnect or remove the battery.
You must locate the CMOS battery; it looks like a button covered with a black protective plastic with a red and black braided cable. Disconnect the cable next to the battery.
Pro X Executive
Replace the old CMOS battery with the new one.
You can purchase the battery in our store.Reconnect/replace the battery and close the bottom cover.
Finally, configure the BIOS again, disable Secure Boot, set security parameters, etc... In the next reboots, the configuration will be saved.
