Greetings everyone,
I really hate to be the bringer of bad news, but unfortunately I must
do it so this does not catch anyone by surprise. After a year of
visceral fights with our suppliers and providers to keep prices under
control, the global inflation is forcing us to do so.
We tried our best to keep prices intact during the course of this year despite of the materials shortage, low stock, speculation, inflation, insane fuel prices, Euro / Dollar depreciation, etc... and we kinda did, that is until now... I'm afraid to say that we no longer can keep up with all this and prices for all our products range will experience an increase in about 7 to 10 days from now.
This is the last thing that we want to do, but all the issues mentioned earlier and then some more, have forced us to perform this overall price increase.
Just as a heads up, check out this graph where you can see the decline of the Euro
against the US Dollar. To sum it up, most internationals transactions
are made in US Dollars, which means that for parts and components that
used to cost 100€ now we have to pay almost 120€. Combine this with the
brutal price bump from fuel, transportation and energy among others and
this is the end result.
If you were planing to purchase a computer from us, we encourage you to do so before the price increase. We find it fair to notify everyone about this before the price bump is applied.
We really hope that this is a temporary matter and we can revert back to our usual pricing, only time will tell.
Best regards.
The Slimbook team.
