Official guidance for ROCm with Radeon 880M (iGPU) on Slimbook EVO 14 AI

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a Slimbook EVO 14 AI with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor and integrated Radeon 880M (RDNA 3.5) GPU. I'm running Slimbook OS 24 (based on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS).

I would like to use the Radeon 880M iGPU to accelerate local AI models through ROCm. I'm aware that AMD, with ROCm 7.2.1, has officially announced support for the Ryzen AI 300 series processors [https://rocm.docs.amd.com/projects/radeon-ryzen/en/latest/index.html].

However, I would like to ask:

1. Does Slimbook provide any official guidance for installing and configuring ROCm 7.2.1 on this specific model?

2. Are there any known compatibility issues or special settings (e.g., regarding the Linux kernel) I should be aware of?

3. Could you share a tested procedure to fully leverage the GPU's capabilities?

Any guidance or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

We do not currently provide a configuration to use ROCm on our devices, installing it from the instructions of AMD should suffice
In any case, the ROCm toolkit has not been tested with the device, so the settings or if there is any compatibility issue I am unsure
