Solution to the problem (no "Install Ubuntu with Windows")

Hello everyone!

Here are the requirements to be able to install Ubuntu when the option "Install Ubuntu with Windows" does not appear:

  • You must have sufficient unallocated space for Ubuntu. The minimum for Ubuntu Desktop is 25GB.

  • You should boot from the USB in UEFI mode if Windows is installed as a UEFI operating system.

  • Disable the option "Secure Boot".

  • Disable "TPM".

  • Disable  the option "Fast Startup" in Windows.
Fast Startup is actually a hybrid hibernation and prevents Windows from shutting down completely. When this happens, Windows can lock the hardware and volumes, preventing you from using the affected hardware in another operating system. If you are using a dual boot setup with Windows, make sure this feature is turned off.
