In this tutorial, we explain how to format a USB to FAT32 easily using the Disks utility already installed on your Ubuntu.

Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Connect the USB
Ensure the USB you want to format is connected to your Slimbook.

2. Open the Disks Utility:
- You can find the Disks Utility by searching for it in the application menu or simply pressing Super and typing "Disks Utility" in the search box.

3. Select the USB:
- In the left sidebar of the Disks Utility, select your USB device.

4. Unmount the USB (optional):
- If the USB is mounted, click the square "Unmount" button next to the gear-shaped button

5. Format the USB:
- After unmounting the USB, click the three dots at the top of the window and choose the "Format Disk..." option.

   - Choose Partitioning as "GPT" and proceed with formatting.
   - Continue through the prompts until you reach the next screen.

6. Choose the (FAT) option and click the green "Create" button

7. Wait for it to finish
- The Disks Utility will format the USB. Wait for the process to complete.

8. Mount the USB:
- Once formatting is complete, click the "Mount" button to mount the USB again.

Now, your USB should be formatted to FAT32 and ready to use. Note that this process will erase all data on the USB, so be sure to back up any important information before starting.
