A small entry on our website to describe the indescribable. An event aptly labeled as awesómico (awesome + cosmic), which has stood the test of time, maintaining its essence while leveling up to meet the expectations of what matters most: the attendees.
It was back in 2019 when, for some reason we can’t quite recall or thanks to a lucky contact, we sponsored and attended TRGCON. That edition made one thing clear: this event is all about creating memories. Memories of high-quality talks, exclusive content, fun stands, and, of course, the food... oh, the food!
So, in 2024, we couldn’t fall short. Following the event’s guidelines, we decided to step up our game with a booth and a clear slogan: Slimbook, the F1 computers. To bring this to life, we set up a racing car simulator equipped with a 55-inch TV, a racing seat, a steering wheel, and a gear shifter. But the real star, albeit less visible, was a realistic simulation game running on Linux, powered by one of our best computers. This machine was built in a sleek Fractal case made of metal and wood, a custom order that rarely appears on our website.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. We set up a pit stop area where anyone could leave their computer for live cleaning or tuning.
To meet the high expectations of the event, we also showcased computers that hadn’t been officially launched yet. In fact, while we were at the event, our colleagues were finishing the product pages for these devices:
CUBE: the server every SME needs, perfect for file sharing, equipped with a powerful CPU to handle containers, virtual machines, and services, with redundancy through four 2.5 Gbps network ports.
ZERO: the new generation of our fanless mini PC, now featuring four network ports and enhanced modularity.
EXCALIBUR REFRESH: the revamped version of our 2024 bestseller, with an improved chassis, better battery life, and upgraded speakers.
CREATIVE: a laptop designed specifically for content creators, though we can’t reveal more details just yet.
DISPLAY: a desktop computer with a screen built into its front panel. Yes, you read that right.
We also showcased the rest of our usual catalog, but without a doubt, the most coveted model was our new EVO, a computer that garnered glowing reviews from everyone who tried it.
In summary, we came away from this event with plenty of smiles, new contacts, and the satisfaction of seeing people who, five years later, are still as passionate as ever—just like us.
