In classical mythology, an imaginary monster that spewed flames and had the head of a lion, the belly of a goat, and the tail of a dragon.
Something proposed to the imagination as possible or true, although it is not.
Our computers can indeed be monstrous beasts due to the power of their components, but they can also allow us to create what we seek, what we long to achieve with our computer, something that otherwise we could only imagine.
While the beauty of our cases could have given this series of computers the name of Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and sensuality, instead of the name of a monster, at this point, the name doesn't matter much because a picture is worth a thousand words:
