A few days ago, we released a BIOS and EC update for the KDE Slimbook V and Excalibur laptops from the AMD Ryzen 7000HS series, specifically BIOS SLIM H6.02 and EC 1.03.

How to check if your Slimbook has the latest BIOS and EC version.. If you received your device between mid-April and mid-May, it is likely that you already have this version installed.

This update includes:

• Improvements in the fan profile

• Enhancements in microvoltages and power management (SmartBattery)

• Improvements in APU voltages

• Removal of some options in the BIOS for better security
