Acabo de estrenar equipo con un AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS y una Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070. En general, todo funciona muy bien y estoy bastante satisfecho con el rendimiento.

Sin embargo, estoy teniendo problemas al usar una segunda pantalla como extensión de escritorio. Se trata del monitor MSI MAG 274UPF E2 27" LED Fast IPS UltraHD 4K 160Hz HDR400.

En principio, el monitor externo funciona correctamente, pero de forma aleatoria el sistema crashea: a veces justo al iniciar sesión, otras al abrir alguna aplicación, y otras simplemente durante el uso normal. El único remedio que me queda es reiniciar el equipo. Esto hace que la experiencia sea bastante inestable y frustrante.

¿Alguien más ha tenido problemas similares con esta configuración o este monitor en particular? ¿Alguna recomendación para resolverlo o pasos para depurar mejor el origen del fallo?

I recently got a new setup with an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070. Overall, everything works great and I’m very happy with the performance.

However, I'm facing issues when using a second monitor as an extended display. The external monitor is a MSI MAG 274UPF E2 – 27" LED Fast IPS, UltraHD 4K, 160Hz, HDR400.

Initially, it seems to work fine, but randomly the system crashes — sometimes right after boot, sometimes when launching an application, and other times during normal use. The only solution is to reboot the system, which makes the setup quite unstable and unreliable.

Has anyone experienced similar issues with this kind of configuration or this monitor in particular? Any suggestions for solving the issue or for troubleshooting the cause?
