I have a laptop that has a CPU that is not on the supported list, Intel Core i7-13650HX. The Slimbook Intel Controller app tells me to input the low, medium and high values for maintained and high power TDP. I looked at the product page, https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/232101/intel-core-i713650hx-processor-24m-cache-up-to-4-90-ghz/specifications.html, and there are some power values there. I have further searched to find out that Processor Base Power is TDP. But I am not sure how I can determine the low, medium and high values for maintained and high power TDP. I am too scared to guess and try as the values that I input could easily cause overheating and damage my CPU and laptop severely. How can I determine the low, medium and high values for maintained and high power TDP?

Hi,
We are aware that the app needs a redesign (and we are currently working on it). For now, we can only display the values in a very simple way.
The app manages TDP settings in a customized manner. There are three operating modes — Low, Medium, and High — which can be switched on the app’s main page.
There are also three TDP values: Low TDP, Medium TDP, and High TDP. These correspond to:
- Low TDP: Minimum Assured Power
- Medium TDP: Processor Base Power
- High TDP: Maximum Turbo Power
For your 13650HX processor, the table would look like this. Please fill in all fields except for the values related to High.
Best regards,
Low TDP | Medium TDP | High TDP | |
Low | |||
Medium | |||
High | 45 | 55 | 157 |
