Slimbook told me to install Manjaro, so I can get the power button to work.
If I connect my external monitor the screens OSD shows up but kscreen doesn't see it and the monitor doesn't get input. The same laptop (Hero) works with the same monitor when using openSUSE Tumbleweed.
What should I try?

For it to work you need to install the nvidia driver and make sure that manjaro is able to boot with the driver.

I tried reinstalling the driver 2 times, but it still doesn't recognize my monitors. restarting kwin_wayland also doesn't help and kscreen doesn't see it either. My system is up to date. The same monitor+cable works with the same laptop on Tumbleweed.
I'm out of ideas on how to fix it, since you said other distros don't support slimbook devices as well.
