My ProX 14 laptop webcam shows a vivid blue tinge - this does not happen on other laptops therefore is not the lighting. How can I adjust the white balance please?

Hi,
Does it happen on Linux or Windows?
If Linux, have you tried webcamoid?
Have you tried on a LiveUSB in case the same thing happens to you?

Best regards,
Hi Eusabio many thanks for helping.
I am currently on Ubuntu 24.04 and have tried Wecamoid but could not see how to adjust some of the settings.
I have just downloaded Cameractrls from the App Store turned White Balance Auto off and tried the presets that are available there.
The one called "Forest" actually works and so I think my problem is partly solved.
As expected when I restart the camera is back to it's original setting so I have to fire up Cameractrls and hit the preset to correct matters.
I'm fortunate in that I don't use the camera/video a lot apart from a couple of meetings a week so it's not too painful.
I would be interested if there was a way of changing matters permanently - a bash script?
Thanks again for answering.
