Hola chicos!
I am a Slimbook fan and I am wondering if there is any roadmap for support of coreboot in your laptops/hardware. I noticed tuxedocomputers or system76 offering this and made me interested but I'd like to stay with Slimbook. Maybe somebody tried to hack it already?

Hi,
We released a test version of Coreboot on our Katana2 laptop 5 years ago, and the tests didn't go well. Every few hours of use, the laptop would crash or have other random problems very far apart in time.
This caused harsh criticism towards us, from the first users.
Finally, we considered that this was not stable enough to commercialize the product.
I know that other laptop companies offer AMI or Coreboot, so the customer can choose if they want the most stable solution or the solution that may not be as stable.
Coreboot has a fantastic philosophy, but with the problems of the past and the fact that it does not have BIOS configuration options that can be changed to give the user options (other than the boot sequence), we felt that it was not the time yet.
Tuxedo launched a first test version 2 years ago and the project has not moved since.
System76 has achieved more things with Coreboot, but although we share a motherboard in some laptops, for some reason we have not been able to implement this.
All this does not mean that we don't like Coreboot, we would like to return to this in the future, but I don't know the result.
Thank you
